A new portable oxygen concentrator will soon be available from Invacare – Invacare Platinum Portable Oxygen Concentrator.
The Invacare Platinum is a small portable concentrator, weighing only 5 pounds with one battery, or 6 pounds with two batteries. The unit is the first portable oxygen concentrator to have top-loading battery slots that allow you to drop in your batteries like bread in a toaster, for very easy changing. Two battery slots are available for maximum battery durations and easy battery charging.
Two batteries will provide up to 9 hours on setting 2, providing as much battery time as the Inogen One G3 16-Cell Double battery or the Philips SimplyGo Mini Extended battery.
The Invacare Platinum features pulse settings up to 4, with a generous 1,000 mL capacity. This high oxygen capacity makes is equal to the oxygen provided by both the Inogen One G3 and the Philips SimplyGo Mini.
The Invacare Platinum Portable is replacing the current Invacare XPO2. Invacare anticipates receiving FAA approval for the Platinum in July 2016 so travelers will be able to enjoy all the features provided by the unit right away.
