Inogen One FAQs
|
|
The new Inogen One G2 delivers the independence of the original Inogen One portable concentrator, but it's smaller, lighter, and makes more oxygen with a longer battery life. It's a portable concentrator small enough to hold in your hand. That means there are no tanks to refill and you never have to worry about running out of oxygen.
- 40% Smaller
- 25% Ligher
- 20% More Oxygen
- Authorized by FAA onboard aircraft
I weigh less than your cat.
No more worries about running out of oxygen ever again. No more relying on others for your oxygen supply. And no more deliveries.
The INOGEN ONE G2 is the first oxygen system designed to provide unparalleled freedom for the active oxygen user. With the INOGEN ONE G2, you’ll no longer need separate pieces of equipment for home, portable, or travel use. Best of all, because it gets oxygen from the air around you, there are no gas or liquid tanks to fill. That means your INOGEN ONE G2 will never run out of oxygen.
The INOGEN ONE G2 is made to make your life easier. It’s light enough to carry over your shoulder, and it comes with a cart to roll behind you when you’re on the go. We like to think of it as a “polite companion”... and since it’s whisper quiet most people don’t know it’s running.
I’m smaller than your coffee maker.
The INOGEN ONE G2 fits virtually anywhere. Now you can reclaim that room in your home occupied by a noisy concentrator, spare oxygen tanks, or a large liquid oxygen reservoir. The INOGEN ONE G2 can sit discreetly at your feet, behind a chair, next to the bed, or over your shoulder. All of your oxygen needs can be met with this one small device - day or night, home or away.
Technology not only makes the INOGEN ONE G2 smaller and lighter, it makes it easier to operate too. Just a couple of buttons. That’s it. There are no regulators to switch or liquid oxygen freeze-ups. Once you try it, you’ll wonder why anyone would use something else. Embrace the simplicity of the INOGEN ONE G2 and see how it can make your life easier.
I can go wherever you want.
Head home when you want to, not when your oxygen guage says you have to. Restoring your freedom and control of your day is a big part of what makes the INOGEN ONE G2 so special. You can power your INOGEN ONE G2 by plugging it into a wall outlet, DC outlet in your car, or for hours at a time with the included battery. So go ahead, jump in the car to run errands or take a weekend trip to see family. Come and go as you want without having to switch equipment. Or take that long trip you thought you’d never again have the chance to take. The INOGEN ONE G2 is made to follow you anywhere, whether it’s around town, on the road, on a cruise, or in the air. Where you go is now up to you!
Speaking of air travel, many airlines now allow you to use the INOGEN ONE G2 when you fly. Now you can take your oxygen with you, avoiding the hassle of arranging for oxygen at the airport with your provider and the expense of airline-supplied oxygen during flight. Visit www.inogen.net/faa for a list of airlines that currently allow the INOGEN ONE.

Can I take the Inogen One G2 onboard commercial aircraft?
Yes. The Inogen One is approved for use onboard many commercial aircraft. To see a list of airlines that accept the Inogen One onboard, please click here.
How long does the Inogen One battery last?
A fully charged Inogen One G2 battery will last up to Four hours. If the Inogen One G2 is being used at a higher flow setting, such as 4 or 5, the battery would last closer to 3 hours and if used at a lower setting of 1 or 2, it would last closer to 4 hours. By plugging into a power source, whether that be an electrical outlet or the cigarette lighter in a car (using the mobile power charger), the Inogen One G2 battery will charge.
Will using the Inogen One G2 decrease my electric bill?
Yes it can, if you are currently using a standard oxygen concentrator. Click here to calculate how much you are currently spending on electricity with your standard concentrator and how much you could save using an Inogen One G2.
Is the Inogen One G2 pulse dose? Can I use it at night?
Yes, the Inogen One G2 is pulse dose, but we have developed new pulse dose technology. The Inogen One G2 is designed to be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even during the night. The Inogen One is clinically proven to provide the necessary oxygen for most ambulatory patients during all phases of daily activity and during sleep.
What is included in the Inogen One G2 system?
The Inogen One G2 system includes the Inogen One G2 Portable Oxygen Concentrator, Inogen One G2 12-Cell Lithium Ion Battery, Universal Power Supply (AC and DC Power), Cart and Carry Bag, a nasal cannula, and instruction materials. The Inogen One G2 System includes everything you need to achieve independence.
