When the Solo2 is connected to household current via the AC Power Supply, it automatically charges the inserted battery, whether the Solo2 itself is operating at any flow rate - or turned off.

One DC Mobile Adapter Model TPO140 is supplied with TPO100B Invacare Solo2 Oxygen Concentrator and plugs into a 12-volt DC power source, with a 15- or 20-ampere circuit, such as a car or boat accessory lighter. It operates the Solo2, but will not recharge the battery. Many users find it handy to have more than one DC Mobile Adapter, keeping one in each vehicle, for example.
